Description: 'Doc' Riedenschneider, legendary crime 'brain' just out of prison, has a brilliant plan for a million-dollar burglary. Description: In New York, after celebrating his twenty-fifth years as a cashier of a company and receiving a golden watch in a dinner party, the middle-aged amateurish painter Christopher Cross protects a young woman, Katharine March, from an assault on the street by a young man, Johnny Prince, without knowing that he is her lover. Chris invites Kitty to drink a coffee in a bar, and presents himself as a successful and wealthy painter. The small time crook and caftan Johnny sees the chance to raise easy money and convinces the manipulative Kitty to take as much money as possible from Chris. He embezzles his company and steals his wife, and Kitty moves to a huge studio. Chris brings his paintings to the new address, and Johnny takes them for evaluation and they are considered masterpieces by an arts critic and by the owner of a gallery. Kitty pretends to be the painter, becomes famous, leading them to a tragic conclusion.

Description: Michael O'Hara, against his better judgement, hires on as a crew member of Arthur Bannister's yacht, sailing to San Francisco. They pick up Grisby, Bannister's law partner, en route. Bannister has a wife, Rosalie, who seems to like Michael much better than she likes her husband. After they dock in Sausalito, Michael goes along with Grisby's weird plan to fake his (Grisby's) murder so he can disappear untailed. He wants the $5000 Grisby has offered, so he can run off with Rosalie. But Grisby turns up actually murdered, and Michael gets blamed for it. Somebody set him up, but it is not clear who or how.

DUAL AUDIO TRACK

This movie contains two audio tracks, one is original English, and the second is commentary from movie historician, Peter Bogdanovich. You can useVLC Player to easily choose between any of audio tracks or you can use VirtualDub to get rid of any of audio tracks by following these steps:

1. Download Virtualdub from that WWW address:

2. Download your version, unzip the files, start the program by running VirtualDub.exe

3. From "File" tab choose "Open video file" and find your dual audio file on your HDD (or you can simply drag and drop movie file into program window)

1. Download latest version of AVI-Mux GUI from author`s site

2. Open the archive, unpack to destination of your choice, run the program

3. Right click in main window and choose "Add", locate your dual audio movie and click "Open"

4. Double click your movie, the program will list all movie tracks, 1 video and dual or more audio

5. Main, English track is usually with higher bitrate and bigger size (which is listed next to audio track name)

6. Uncheck non-English audio track, leave English track checked and make sure you unchceck "All audio tracks" and "No audio" boxes just above tracks list
