Debiut 2001 roku bez względu na kategorię! Wydając swój pierwszy materiał,
"Kolejny krok", rodzimy kolektyw Electric Rudeboyz udowodnił wszem i wobec,
że - mimo wszystko - Polak potrafi. I to nie mało! Tak porywającej, autorskiej
dawki drum'n'bassu jeszcze bowiem w naszym kraju nikt nie słyszał. A to,
w jaki sposób Oreu i inni wokaliści nagięli nasz język do melodyki ragga, to już
prawdziwe mistrzostwo świata.
Sam krążek jest bardzo dynamiczny i utrzymany w szybkim tempie. Zawiera
tylko 12 utworów, ale to wystarczy, by zyskać sympatię wielu słuchaczy.
A jest to płyta naprawdę gorąca, wakacyjna, w sam raz na letnie wieczory, czy
melanże, ale też teksty Electric Rudeboyz dają wiele do myslenia. Chłopaki
zaserwowali tu bezkompromisowy Hip-Hop w oparciu o brzmienia
drum'n'bassowe, co dzisiaj jest po prostu ewenementem jesli chodzi o ten
rodzaj muzyki.
Producentem płyty jest głównie Oreu, on też napisał większość tekstów,
a wspomagają go Calvin i DJ Badkarma. Płyta promowana była przez
dwa single, do których powstały klipy: "Nie ma lekko" i "Znowu lato", a ukazała się
nakładem labelu Vienia i Włodka z Molesty, Baza Lebel.
Jeśli miałbym cokolwiek dodać, to tylko to, że tego albumu należy posłuchać,
żeby to poczuć. Efekty są widoczne już po pierwszym przesłuchaniu.
Zatem... polecam.
