Fabuła skupia się na dwóch mężczyznach, którzy znaleźli sposób na przetrwanie w świecie zombie. Columbus (Eisenberg) ma nawyk uciekania przed wszystkim, co go przeraża. Tallahassee (Harrelson) nie boi się niczego. W świecie opanowanym przez zombie są idealnie przystosowani do przetrwania.
