[RS] Rocketship X-M (1950)
Rocketship X-M (1950) DVD Rip  Four men and a woman blast into space on mankind's first expedition to the Moon. Halfway to the moon, the engines shut down because of a problem in the fuel. Newton's laws are instantly violated as the ship comes to a dead stop. There are some tense moments (more or less) while the crew work on the problem. They solve it beyond their expectations and the ship tears off across the solar system on a new course. Incredibly, this takes them directly to Mars, which causes Dr. Karl Eckstrom to "pause and observe respectfully while something infinitely greater assumes control". On Mars, they find evidence of a once-powerful civilization, as evidenced by an art-deco wall-hanging of a face, and a backdrop of a building shaped rather like a dynamo. There has been a planetary nuclear war. They meet a descendant of the builders of the civilization: a blind and mute woman, who is pursued by other descendants: cave-men, whom they fight off and escape (with two dead and one wounded). The return voyage is only a partial success: the ship makes it back to Earth but hasn't enough fuel for a landing. As Col. Floyd Graham and Dr. Lisa Van Horn embrace the ship crashes. The press is informed that the crew has perished, but a new ship will be built to continue the exploration of space. Kod:

After a couple of gratuitous displays of flesh (Yvette appeared as the centerfold in the July, 1959 issue of Playboy.), and some running around on her husband (Bruno VeSota), Liz finds herself a prisoner of the leeches along with her current paramour. Creature from the Haunted Sea (1961) DVD Rip  After smuggling a strong box of the Cuban treasury and a group of exiled Cubans out of the now communist Cuba, a group of criminal and exiled Americans plot how to rid themselves of the Cubans guarding the money and come up with the plan to imitate a sea monster and blame the deaths on it. A FBI agent smuggles himself on board and acts as a narrator and all around good guy, ending up as the only original character to survive until the end. The sea monster turns out to be real and despite his amusing cookie monster meets seaweed appearance, turns out to be quite deadly. Through a terrible and hard to follow plot the movie results with the sea monster killing everyone and getting the money for itself. And Sparks Moran, the FBI agent ends up with the conveniently placed girl. Kod:

The Beast of Yucca Flats (1961)  A noted Soviet scientist by the name of Joseph Javorsky (played by Tor Johnson) defects to the United States. We first see him as he arrives on a plane in a remote location in the desert. He has a briefcase with him, and it is suggested that this contains Russian military secrets. As Javorsky disembarks from his plane, he and his American contacts are attacked by a group of KGB assassins. While the Americans stay to fight off the KGB agents, Javorsky flees into the desert, walking for (presumably) a great distance, and removing much of his clothing. Too late, it is revealed that he has wandered in range of an American nuclear test. The radiation transforms Javorsky into a mindless beast (the Beast). This is considered by many as even worse or on par with Plan 9 from Outer Space. Gotta respect that  Kod:

The Wasp Woman (1960)  The founder and owner of a large cosmetics company, Janice Starlin (Susan Cabot), is disturbed when her firm's sales begin to drop after it becomes apparent to her customer base that she is aging. Scientist Eric Zinthrop (Michael Mark) has been able to extract enzymes from the royal jelly of the queen wasp that can reverse the aging process. Starlin agrees to fund further research, at great cost, provided she can serve as his human subject. Displeased with the slowness of the results she breaks into the scientist's laboratory after hours and injects herself with extra doses of the formula. Zinthrop becomes aware that some of the test creatures are becoming violent and goes to warn Janice but before he can reach anyone he gets into a car accident. He is thus temporarily missing and Janice goes through great trouble to find him, eventually managing and then transferring his care to herself. Janice continues her clandestine use of the serum and sheds twenty years' in a single weekend, but soon discovers that she is periodically transformed into a murderous queen wasp. Kod:
